Boulton's Lightning Card

Boulton's Lightning Card is an item in Merge Mansion. Used to increase the level of a single production item by 1, Boulton's Lightning Card can be stacked and can only be used on a non-maxed out item with a lightning bolt.

Gameplay Tips[]

They can be merged to increase the charges available.
They can only be used on items with a lightning bolt (producer). They cannot be used on an item that is already max level.
You get the biggest benefit if you use the card to upgrade a difficult-to-build producer from the second highest level to the highest level. A popular choice is to upgrade a Professional Broom Cabinet (L11) into a Professional Broom Cabinet (L12).
The card is only distributed as an event prize a few times a year, such as during the Hopeberry Festival.

Story[]

When the card is placed on the board for the first time:

Maddie (joyous)
I got this as a present for my birthday. I was told to only use it for emergencies.
Maddie (default)
I think fixing up this mansion qualifies as an emergency!
[Maddie leaves]

Try dragging it onto any item with a lightning symbol on it.
That will increase the item's level.
Two Lightning Cards can be stacked together to combine their charges.

Where did I put my Lightning Card? Or did I loan it to someone?

Event Black Card[]

The Event Black Card works exactly like the regular Black Card, but it can only be used to level up an item in the current event, rather than on the Main Board.
