Mansion Updates refers to a series of YouTube videos produced by Metacore giving information on forthcoming updates to the game Merge Mansion. They are narrated by Camila Oliveira, Social Media and Community manager at Metacore.

Camila welcomes viewers to the first Mansion Updates and explains she will be telling people about everything new in Merge Mansion. She mentions a spoiler at the end of the video.
Camila starts by talking about the most recently released area - the Maintenance Room. While Maddie hasn't got inside the mansion she found the door to the Maintenance Room was open and there was someone inside. She meets Mr Winston. Camila questions why Maddie hasn't met Winston before and how he managed to get in. In the background someone takes out a gardening tool from a cabinet. Camila says she won't give out any spoilers.
Camila says she is happy it is the holiday season and they will have 4 themed events. She says to stop a sec and admire the new opening screen. Camila says she wants a mug of hot chocolate. The 1st event is Winter Holiday with the chance to collect golden ornaments. If you get the golden key you unlock more rewards. The second event is Setting Up Xmas where Grandma and Julius set up decorations. The 3rd event, in Christmas Season asks for Maddie's help to wrap her gifts and will set up more decorations. the 4th event is Xmas Junk Haul following the same logic as previous garage clean ups.
There's also special music and sound effects. After all the celebrating a new area opens up the Conservatory. In the middle of the plants and pots, Maddie learns more about the family.
Camila returns to the spoiler. The phrase "good things come to those who wait" will make a lot of sense [NB: It's not clear what this spoiler is - perhaps it refers to going inside the mansion]. She finishes by asking people to subscribe, if they want more.

Camila welcomes viewers back and says she is going to look at the characters. She thanks the community for the positive reception to episode 1.
She starts by talking about Ursula and Maddie. The video shows cutscenes from various adverts. Camila says that Ursula is unique and loves Maddie more than anything in the world and wants to protect her. Ursula is an amazing cook and "has the best eyebrows in town". She's not open about her past and everyone wants to know what she's hiding. The video shows tweets asking this. Camila says she can't reveal the big secret.
We then move on to Maddie who is smart and independent but clueless (shows picture of Roddy). She is an orphan who was raised by Ursula and it was Maddie's idea to move to Hopewell Bay and restore the family estate [NB: this seems to clash with the backstory in the adverts]. Maddie wants to reveal the family secrets, while Ursula wants to keep them hidden.
We then move on to Roddy Took who was very happy to meet Maddie. Optimistic, Roddy offers to help and develops a crush on Maddie but "has he been careful enough not to get friendzoned"
There's a sound of a car crashing. "Here's our clumsy Julius". He's an antique dealer and old family friend of Ursula. He also has a tendency to bring up the past, which Ursula doesn't like.
Next Camila talks about Rufus who was found by Maddie in the Old Well. "It was a connection at first sight". Julius has an allergy to Rufus.
Jackie is a newspaper reporter who headed to the estate when she heard Ursula was arrested. She then became friends with Maddie but Ursula doesn't trust her.
Charlie is more mysterious than Ursula. He was married to Ursula until his apparent death. He was a kind, loving husband and knew Maddie for a short time. Camila feels we are getting closer to finding more out about Charlie.
Camila asks what else people would like her to talk about and asks people to subscribe. The video fades to black with someone whispering "It's important."

Camila says she will take about the new update. First of all, Maddie hears rumours about a Wizard of Hopewell Bay but she believes it might be Charlie. She hears he is hiding in the Lighthouse but instead finds Heikki, the Finnish lighthouse keeper. Heikki says he saw Charlie a few years agoand that Charlie saved his life. Lighthouse unlocks after Tennis Court.
With Valentine's Day approaching Camila announces the Sweetheart's Season. You can learn about bad dates Ursula had after Charlie.
Camila addresses the fact that the storyline has been adjusted for older areas that the player may already have completed. They are looking at ways to make the story more accessible but for now players can look at Support for story spoilers.
Camila mentions Deb, who Maddie met during the Maze. She is Ursula's older sister, who came back to Hopewell Bay after years abroad. Deb is single so the special event is a ball hosted right outside the mansion (Valentine's Day 2023). Deb is also using the help of Pearl Wu, the local planner. Like last year, there will be a Garage clean up near the end.
There have also been some technical changes. They changed the information on item sources. Also they made Maddie more dynamic so she walks around the map more. they also fixed the L4 piggy bank bug. Camila asks what else people would like her to talk about and asks people to subscribe.

Camila is walking with the camera pointed at her face. She just found out about something. She learnt that something is happening. A man asks off camera "what are you doing?" Camila says she is preparing for the next video. The man says OK but you can't talk about "it" yet. Camila says "Come on, she can't keep it locked forever." The man says "Camila". She sighs and says "OK, not yet." The man says he is getting ready and Camila smirks at the camera.

Camila is providing info on the next update. Similar to recent updates, there is another new area. It is inside and now Maddie got inside she can't wait to explore more. Now we are unlocking the Hallway. You might think it's a small space but wrong. "Think Maintenance Room x3."
Jackie comes to visit and spills the tea on the Boultons' money issues. Camila thinks this may be to do with Ursula's brother Leonard.
Camilla explains about Supercell ID. This allows the player to save progress. It also allows for multiple saves on the same device. there is also a free statue for connecting.
The new season is Pie Wars. Ursula has always had the best pies in town but Cherry, the neighbour has an improved pie.
The special event is Hopeberry Festival. Hopeberry's are the world's best berries according to Roddy. They can only be found in Hopewell Bay. Deb plans to make Hopeberry juice and experiments with weird ingredients.
There are some balance changes including a bigger stack limit for the hourglass and rebalancing the workbench.
Metacore won best music at the Nix gaming awards, and Camila shows the trophy.

Camila starts by saying they are close to 100k subscribers and asks people to subscribe.
Camila asks if the viewers took part in the Great Bake Off. She was happy to see people sharing their results on social media. She says not to worry if you missed out as there is more coming soon.
Camila moves on to talk about Mysteries. This is the new name for the season pass. Each mystery will take about a month. Camila says a frequent question is if you get the golden key later do you still get the previous rewards. The answer is yes. The first mystery in June is Amy's mystery and it involves a cat that Maddie meets.

Camila is presenting from a new location - Grandma Ursula's Library. She is standing in front of a wall with portraits. The portraits include one that looks like Vermeer's Girl in a Pear Earring, a picture of a white cat, and one of a man in a suit (Leonard?)
Camila thanks viewers for helping them hit 100k subscribers. The next Mystery is Roddy's Mystery. Roddy is organising a summer camp in Grandma Ursula's yard. During this mystery you collect badges like in the scouts.
The new area is Heikki's Sauna. Saunas are Finnish and Camila goes every week. Heikki's sauna burns down and Maddie helps him rebuild. It unlocks after finishing the study.
The next special event is Joys of the Sea. Amy the cat from Amy's Mystery belongs to Emilio, a marine biologist. Emilio hosts a fishing event to make friends and understand the local ecosystem better.

Episode 8 - Anniversary Time (6th Sep 2023)[]

Camila is presenting in front of 2 bookcases with a pie microphone. It is a short video to talk about the 3rd anniversary month. The exact day is on the 17th but they are celebrating the whole month.
Camila says that the game has been downloaded over 50 million times and was the first Merge 2 game. She asks if people remember when they started playing. Every day millions of players visit the Mansion. In August, an average of 926 million matches were made on a daily basis. Also the L1 knife was purchased more than 5 million times.
Camilla says that for a long time the story events such as Ignatius Boulton were the only events. A year later the first special event popped up Halloween 2021. Camila asks if anyone watching played it. Camila says with the events came decorations. She shows a picture of her own decorations. The next thing introduced were the boosters like blue card and scissors and more characters such as Emilio. Finally, the Mansion opened, which a lot of people thought would never happen. We now have areas such as the Hideout and Dining Room coming. Camila can't give away spoilers but her favourite room is coming (there is a blurred out image of the bathroom).
Camila thanks the fans and says hopefully we will be still going in 10 years time. The next few days will be filled with gifts. Camila thanks people for watching and being a part of Merge Mansion and asks for what viewers would like to see next.

Episode 9 - September Fun (12th Sep 2023)[]

Camila is again presenting in front of 2 bookcases with a pie microphone.
The new Mystery pass is Deb's mystery. Maddie wants to find out why Deb loves corpse flowers. The 4 drops for the pass are different stages of the corpse flower.
Camila announces that there are more producer levels coming. The drawer is getting 5 new levels and the gardening toolbox and broom cabinet 1 new level each. Other producers will also get extra levels in the future.
Camila announces two new areas coming: Charlie's hideout and Dining Room. In the hideout, Maddie finds a secret room that belonged to her grandfather Charlie and she finds some correspondence between him and Leonard. The Dining Room will be coming in 3 parts and Deb tells maddie about the famous people who used to be there.
There's also a new event type as Maddie and Ursula get to go fishing. Be sure to take photos of each fish you capture.

Episode 10 - A Spooky October (4th Oct 2023)[]

Camila presents in a darkened room. The light comes on and Camila says she will present some of the wicked things coming in Merge Mansion.
A new mystery pass is coming and it will introduce Lady Voyance, a psychic friend of Grandma. She can read the future through snowglobes and she will predict Maddie's future lovelife. Camila says that from now on each Mystery pass will follow directly on from the previous one, so the player can always keep the extra inventory slots.
There is a new leaderboard event, a pumpkin carving contest. The special event is Pirates of Hopewell Bay. Mason found out that there are pirates in grandma's family tree and believes there is hidden treasure in the grounds. Meanwhile Emilio upgrades Mason's pirate ship.
Metacore are introducing the first repeatable task, with the new watering chain. Maddie also found some new clues in old areas [this likely refers to the new tasks in side entrance]
Camila asks about people dressing up for Halloween and hopes someone dresses up as Grandma. She asks anyone who does to tag them. Camila finishes by asking viewers to subscribe and leave a comment. The screen fades to black and then shows Camila looking at a noticeboard.
Episode 11 - Revved up November (3rd Nov 2023)[]

Camila says there is a new mystery pass Grannies of Anarchy. Grandma is a member of a motorcycle club and is hosting a meeting at her cottage.
Maddie realises there is a leak coming from somewhere and finds the Bathroom. She call's Hopewell Bay's best and most unconventional plumber Ash to fix the issues. In the bathroom, we are introduced to 2 new features: character tasks and timed tasks. A character may ask you to assist them with something and you can do that for potentially better rewards. For the timed tasks, they appear in your list with a timer and if you complete within the given period, you get extra great rewards.
Near the end of November, there will be a new special event, Veil of Fate. This sees the return of Lady Voyance, the snowglobe reader.
There are some technical changes with extra levels to the toy car and lamp chains. The lamp chain has it lights off from levels 7 to 9, which means that moth only appears at level 6 and 10.
Camila isn't going to talk too much about Christmas but there is a chocolate calendar coming - one gift a day from 1st-25th December.

Camila introduces her new sidekick Maija, who will be co-presenting from now on.
It is winter season in Hopewell bay so they are removing the fallen leaves for snow. They recap the chocolate advent calendar and then explain the new mystery pass is Holiday Mystery. This will include Christmas decorations for Grandma's cottage.
There is a new leaderboard event called Gingerbread Jamboree. They are also allowing players to buy old decorations from previous years (with coins or gems).
There is a new type of event called Deck the Halls, Clear the webs. There will be a portal to a board completely covered in webs and there are 3 boards in turn. they are also bringing back Lucky Catch with some new fish.
The new special board event is called Fa-la-la-la Follies. Maddie wants to bring back the old traditions of Hopewell Bay, so she gathers the gang and starts a band. You need to reach level 30 to keep your decorations.

Episode 13 - Flirtatious February (23rd Jan 2024)[]
Maija pretends that she is taking over solo from Camila.
The new mystery is Valentine's Mystery. Mason decides to organise a gift exchange with the help of us his Mum.
The new leaderboard event is Floral Frenzy. Compete with other players to create the most beautiful flower decorations.
They next cover the fact that the game has different settings e.g. to turn the merge hints off. You can also check the Merge Mansion social media channels.
They recap the end of Fa-La-La-Follies, where Maddie and Emilio kissed. Now they are dating and Emilio decides to arrange a double date with Roddy and Jackie. This event is Double Date Disaster.
On the technical side, the toolbox and tools are getting new levels. they also explain that they are running A/B testing with new features.
