Picnic Confusion

Confusing Picnic is a Seasonal Event in Merge Mansion. It was available between the 8th of June, 2023 and the 17th of June, 2023. It is preceded by Hopeberry Festival, followed by Joys Of The Sea, and occurs concurrently with Amy's Mystery.

In this Event you can gain Confusing Picnic Decorations for your Food Truck.

Event Mechanics

Prerequisites: This event requires Level 12.

How to get to it: You must be Level 12 and complete the first task to unlock the Event Garage. Once you unlock the event, it will be available via the Door in your normal Garage. It can also be accessed via the Event Button on the Map Screen.

Reward: Decorations for your Food Truck. Note that rewards from the progress bar will be awarded to the Event Garage, while the Set Rewards for the Confusing Picnic Collection will be awarded to the Main Garage.

Levelling up: You have to do Tasks to gain Holiday Points, which you can use to buy Holiday Decorations for the Grand Drive in the Confusing Picnic Collection Shop.

Event Length: 10 days.

Event Garage

The Confusing Picnic Garage can be accessed via the secret entrance inside your main garage. You get the entrance after you claim it.

Gameplay Tips

Strategy for Picnic Confusion

There are two main bottlenecks and that's a a) picnic table and b) marshmallows.

• a) Always empty out the picnic basket to get a picnic table before getting the items to feed it with. You will very likely end up with Grazing Platter and 3/4 of Luxury Set before finishing a single table. It's worth buying the picnic tablecloth L6 from the shop if you have spare coins. Picnic table drops items for picnic memories which will be another bottleneck if you don't focus on building tables.

• b) Marshmallows are dropped from the Lit Campfire which has the same mechanic as snowman from the Christmas event and is an absolute energy sink. This is your go-to for unlimited energy. It's also recommended to stack them if you have a 10 / 15 /20 unlimited energy and go beast mode.

Generally

- merge the main two generators, Olive Tree and Picnic Basket as they give higher lvl drops
- picnic cutlery L5 is a 2x7 self-generator, tap it out 13 times and merge up
- picnic ingredients L5 a 2x7 self-generator, tap it out 13 times and merge up
- have at least one of each self-generators on the board

- picnic basket itself is a rare drop from the campfire about ~ 2 per 500 taps
- olive tree drops from the picnic food chain and it's better to tap it at L7 (cheeseburger and fries) rather than L8. Both are single drops only

- Hourglasses don't merge up time skips, they are used better individually as 1hr time skips and use them on the two main generators
- the best use of the Event Scissors seems to be splitting the max item from a coal chain which is a L5 necklace with 20 drops. Tap it out 19 times and use scissors. It drops coins and gems.

• You can gain 2250 extra by playing the Picnic Garage Cleanup Event.

Confusing Picnic Collection Shop

This shop works differently than normal shops. Decorations do not require purchasing with Confusing Picnic Coins but rather are given after various levels are achieved in the Progress Bar.

You gain Confusing Picnic Points in this Event by completing tasks.

The decorations you receive in this shop will show up on the Food Truck at the Gate. You must reach at least Level 20 to keep your Food Truck. You are able to activate and deactivate each decoration at will by clicking on the flag line button in the lower right corner of the Map Screen.

You will need to earn a total of ?? Confusing Picnic Points to obtain all decorations.
