Progress Bar[]
There is a progress bar in Pirates of Hopewell Bay event that fills up using points. Tapped on the Pirate Coins to collect points!
- In addition to the progress bar progress, each level gives a reward, with every 5 levels giving you a decoration from the Pirates of Hopewell Bay Garage Shop.
- The decorations are level-tiered - collect points to upgrade it. When you have reached Level 30, you can keep the Decoration.
- There are 50 levels and you achieve rewards based on the number of event points and level you have acquired.
- There are two different player groups for the point progression. Group A needs more points for more valuable rewards, but less points for smaller rewards, while Group B has a more even, gradual progression. The assumption is that the overall point requirements are the same, but more data is still needed.
After reaching Level 50, every 300 points you can claim 300 coins.

Dialogue (1st Run - Emilio)[]
Event Intro[]
Mason: Trim the sails and batten down the hatches because adventure awaits!
Emilio: Whoa! What an adorable little pirate ship!
Mason: Erm... I built it myself. The wood is from the shed and the flag is my mom's tablecloth! I mean... Never mind!
Emilio: I've built a boat or two. Maybe I can help you spruce up your vessel?
Mason: Oh, that would be so cool! Can we have a BIG anchor?
Mason: AND golden trims on the railings? AND a mysterious monkey cave??
Maddie: What's up? Are you two planning a pirate adventure?
Mason: Maddie! Emilio is helping me build the BIGGEST and BESTEST pirate ship in the WORLD!
Emilio: Hello, Maddie! Well, maybe not the biggest in the world...
Maddie: You know, I read somewhere that there were pirates on Hopewell Bay a looong time ago...
Mason: R-real pirates? In Hopewell Bay??
Maddie: Hmm... I'm sure I saw something in the attic. Old papers and stuff...
Mason: Ooooh, I hear adventure calling!
First Entering the Event[]
Mason: I bet the Boulton attic is super old and dusty. Which means that it's FULL of cool old stuff...
Mason: Like treasure maps!!!
Mason: I have my quest.
Mason: It may be perilous, filled with unknown dangers and impossible obstacles...
Mason: But Captain Mason never says no to adventure!
First Encounter: Boulton Attic[]
Mason: Where should I begin? The place is full of old junk!
Mason: Maddie mentioned old papers... Could there be a map, too?
Mason: Mysterious boxes! And dusty old furniture, straight from a pirate ship!
Mason: We just keep Christmas decorations in our attic... This is WAY better!
First Encounter: Fancy Chest[]
Mason: Oh, WOW! What's going on here?
Mason: This old chest has to be filled with treasure!
Mason: Dagnabbit - it's locked! And no sign of a key...
Mason: I bet if I keep digging, I'll find some clues.
First Encounter: Mysterious Key[]
Mason: I found the KEY!!
Mason: Now I can open the mysterious chest and get my hands on the treasure!
Opening the Fancy Chest[]
Mason: Jackpot! Is this the treasure I'm looking for?
Mason: This old coffer is full of pirate booty, but I think there's an even bigger treasure somewhere...
First Encounter: Pirate Captain's Outfit[]
Mason: Another little coin...
Mason: So there is a treasure SOMEWHERE!
First Encounter: Antique Desk[]
Mason: Blistering barnacles! This desk is FULL of stuff!
Mason: Parchment, sailor thingies... and COINS!
Mason: But these aren't pirate coins - just dusty old money. And no key...
Mason: What's this? An old letter written by some old seadog? A pirate called Boulton?
Mason: No WAY! The key is buried in the huge garden! Oh, how can I find it THERE??
Mason: The metal detector! I think I saw one in the garage...
First Encounter: Metal Detector[]
Mason: HARRR! The metal detector is ready to go!
Mason: Sink me - it has no BATTERIES!
Mason: Where can I find THOSE??
Mason: There's a lot of junk in the attic... I bet I can find some batteries up there, too!
First Encounter: Battery Pack[]
Mason: Extra powerful batteries to find a buried key - CHECK!
Mason: Now I just need to put these in the metal detector, and we're in business.
Mason: This key is reeeeally old, but this thing will find it!
Mason: But if there's a treasure, there could be treasure hunters! I better be fast.
First Encounter: Costume Store[]
Mason: I wish I had some pirate clothes.
Mason: A-HA! The costume store! I hope they have eye patches...
First Encounter: Pirate Costume[]
Mason: Now I just need the right get-up.
Mason: The stuff every decent pirate needs...
Mason: A hook... and an EYE PATCH!
Mason: And a sword to fight any busted buccaneers!
First Encounter: Seafaring Supplies[]
Mason: Hmm... What DOES a sailor need?
Mason: Some rope. And a compass!
Mason: Do I know how to use a compass? Maybe I should pack the GPS, too.
Mason: I'll just grab the whole box. Don't want to get stranded at sea!
First Encounter: Gilded Clock[]
Mason: I knew that old pirate captain had something up his sleeve.
Mason: This is just a taste of the REAL treasure!
Mason: Now I need to follow the clues to find it...
First Encounter: Treasure Map[]
Mason: I did it! I finally found the MAP!!
Mason: This is it - my final quest!
Mason: There's no knowing what I'll come up against. Stormy seas, treacherous traps... a rumbling belly!
Mason: I'll pack some snacks just in case.
First Encounter: Ultimate Pirate Treasure[]
L2 - Lighthouse Ruins[]
Mason: Hmmmm... This lighthouse is in the wrong place on the map.
Mason: It looks like the Hopewell Bay lighthouse, but ISN'T!
Mason: I need to follow these clues, cause the treasure waits for no man.
Mason: Could there be ANOTHER lighthouse?
L3 - Pier & Boat Level 3[]
Mason: The map tells me to out to sea... But HOW?
Mason: The rowing boat by the pier! I hope it's not booty-trapped...
Mason: Quick - there's no time to waste!
L4 - Pirate Island & Cave[]
Mason: I see something on the horizon... A desert island!!
Mason: This is where I'd hide a treasure...
Mason: There's EVEN a dark, scary cave!
L5 - Wrecked Pirate Ship[]
Mason: The pirates got caught in a storm... and shipwrecked here!
Mason: The crew was saved, but the treasure...
Mason: It must still be here!
L6 - Ultimate Pirate Treasure[]
Mason: So the stories of pirates in the Boulton family are true...
Mason: And I found their ULTIMATE pirate treasure!!
Mason: I'm... RICH!
Mason: Thus ends the epic adventure of Captain Mason, the terror of the Seven Seas.
First Encounter: Pirate Coins[]
L4 - Pound Coin[]
Mason: What a dusty coin! It looks really old and kinda valuable...
Mason: Nah! I think I'll keep looking for something better!
L6 - Pieces of Eight[]
Mason: Oooh, my pirate senses are tingling!
Mason: Now where would a pirate hide the rest of his booty?
L7 - Doubloon[]
Mason: A real gold DOUBLOON!
Mason: It's straight from a pirate's coffer... But there has to be more!
L8 - Doubloon Stack[]
Mason: One, two, three, four... and these look like gold!
Mason: I think I'm getting closer!
L9 - Doubloon Bag[]
Mason: To sail the Seven Seas and plunder for riches...
Mason: This is a whole BAG of gold doubloons!
L10 - Small Fortune[]
Mason: More treasure from the briny deep!
Mason: This coin has a 'B' stamped on it. Does that stand for... Boulton??
L11 - Treasure Chest[]
Mason: Blow me down! A whole chest full of gold!
Mason: And the chest has the same 'B' as the doubloons...
Mason: So there were pirates in the Boulton family!
Decorations Tiers[]
Deco Level 1 (Event Level 1)[]
Mason: Are you SURE you know what you're doing? There's not a lot of ship left.
Emilio: We're taking it apart to built it anew!
Mason: Whoa, look out! There are some PRRRETTY rusty nails in there.
Mason: Mom says you can get sick if you hurt yourself on them!
Emilio: I think you should always listen to your mother.
Mason: Huh! She says that too...
Deco Level 3 (Event Level 10)[]
Emilio: So, young Mason. A good ship needs a strong skeleton.
Mason: That's a great idea! Skeletons are soooo cool.
Mason: Can we have skeletons AND a Monkey Cave?
Mason: That would be AWESOME!
Emilio: I'm talking about the frame of the ship. See, now we can start to built!
Mason: And then we'll do the skeletons?
Deco Level 5 (Event Level 20)[]
Emilio: What do you think? A handsome ship, isn't it?
Mason: Yeah, really handsome! Although... It's missing a mast.
Emilio: Well, yes... But not too bad, even if I do say so myself.
Mason: And you know what would be REALLY rad?
Emilio: W-what?
Mason: Some water for the ship to sail in!
Deco Level 7 (Event Level 30)[]
Mason: Shiver me timbers! It's starting to look like a pirate ship!
Emilio: You can say that again! I think we've done pretty well here.
Emilio: We still need to finish the poop deck...
Mason: The WHAT?
Emilio: The poop deck - located at the back of the ship...
Emilio: It's the... Forget about it. Let's add some color!
Mason: Hehehe! Poop deck...
Deco Level 10 (Event Level 39)[]
Emilio: Phew, that was quite a job!
Mason: Aye, Emilio. T'was!
Mason: But without wind in its sails, my ship is going nowhere fast.
Emilio: Yes, sails...
Mason: And there COULD be some cannons... In case I need to protect the ship, you know.
Mason: And it needs a pirate flag!
Emilio: Of course.
Deco Level 13 (Event Level 46)[]
Mason: There's no mistaking it now.
Mason: Pirates sail here, so all landlubbers better beware!
Emilio: Are you ready for an adventure?
Mason: Yes and it will be EPIC! Only...
Mason: Don't get me wrong. I love it! It's better than I ever could have imagined, but...
Emilio: Don't tell me.
Mason: ... there's no Monkey Cave.
Deco Level 15 (Event Level 50)[]
Mason: It's PERFECT!
Mason: The ship, the cannons, the lake, the MONKEY CAVE!
Emilio: Yes, it's more than I had planned for, but...
Emilio: It really is glorious. And there's some very interesting sealife in there, too. Did you notice... Maddie!
Maddie: Ohoy! I can't believe you've built all this!
Mason: Well, Emilio did help a little.
Emilio: ...
Mason: Well, adventure calls! See you later, you scallywags!
Emilio: Safe travels, young Mason!
Mason: HARRR! That's Captain Mason, if you don't mind.
Dialogue (2nd Run - Roddy)[]
Event Intro[]
Mason: Wood, nails, rope, an anchor... What else do I need to build a MEGA pirate ship?
Mason: Emilio made building a ship look really easy. I wish I had someone to help me...
Roddy: Hello, Mason! Planning a building project?
Mason: Roddy! Yeah, it's going to be an EPIC pirate ship. What brings you here on this fine day?
Roddy: I-I was just down the road on business and thought I'd come and see how Maddie is getting on with the renovations.
Mason: Say, Roddy... Do you wanna help me build this ship? I could sure use a hand!
Roddy: Well, I'm an architect, so I don't really know anything about building ships.
Mason: I understand. I guess it takes special expert to do that.. Like Emilio.
Mason: But it's OK. I'm sure you're really busy.
Roddy: Emilio...
Mason: What's that?
Roddy: Never mind. I'll help you. Where do we begin?
First Encounter: Antique Desk[]
Mason: Have you ever been on a pirate adventure, Roddy?
Roddy: I can't say that I have. Why?
Mason: Grandma Ursula told me about pirates in her family, and their ship ran aground, so they had to abandon their treasure...
Mason: But there's a LOG BOOK!
Mason: Destiny is calling Captain Mason to search for it, but I need a first mate to join me on this quest.
First Encounter: Battery Pack[]
Mason: Yes! A mega high-powered battery. This is exactly what we need!
Roddy: I-is it?
Mason: Yes, for the metal detector!
Roddy: Metal detector?
Mason: To find the key.
Roddy: The key? I thought we already have the map!
Mason: We do, but we need a key for the chest that contains the lost log book!
First Encounter: Metal Detector[]
Roddy: And now we search?
Mason: Now we search.
First Encounter: Mysterious Key[]
Roddy: Bingo! We found the key!
Mason: Well done, Roddy. You make a great first mate.
Roddy: Why thank you, Captain!
First Encounter: Pirate Captain's Outfit[]
Roddy: Look at this - a complete pirate captain's costume!
Mason: That sword still looks really sharp. Can I have it?
Roddy: No, Mason.
First Encounter: Gilded Clock[]
Mason: More treasure? Oh, these are just old clocks.
Roddy: They look kinda valuable...
Mason: Forget about them. Who cares about some dusty antiques, when we're searching for ACTUAL pirate treasure!
First Encounter: Seafaring Supplies[]
Mason: Those pirates ended up sailing into a big storm... We'll need to be prepared for the worst, too!
Roddy: Right-o, captain! With this equipment we'll be safe and sound.
Mason: Let's pack it all up and head out!
Roddy: Aye-aye!
First Encounter: Treasure Map[]
Roddy: So you have... a map to find this treasure?
Mason: Of course I do!
Mason: I drew it myself.
First Encounter: Costume Store[]
Roddy: Why are we going to a costume store?
Mason: We need the right outfits if we wanna pass for real pirates, of course!
First Encounter: Pirate Outfit[]
Roddy: Do I really have to wear this?
Mason: Emilio totally would've...
Roddy: I'll do it. *Sigh* Hand it over.
First Encounter: Ultimate Pirate Treasure[]
L2 - Lighthouse Ruins[]
Mason: Grandma was so cool to tell me about this secret!
Roddy: Grandma Ursula revealed a secret? That's a first...
Mason: Let's see what the log book says!
Mason: "It has been most terrible of late... My crew constantly grumble about the quality of food and stale ship biscuits..."
Mason: I would totally complain about stale biscuits, too!
L4 - Pirate Island & Cave[]
Mason: Listen to this:
Mason: "The island rose from the mist like the hump of an angry whale. Everything about it looked menacing, but we had no choice but to head for it."
Mason: Oooh, I can't take the suspense!
L6 - Ultimate Pirate Treasure[]
Roddy: I can see the old ship!
Mason: It is here we left our treasure, in the hopes that we can return to fetch it later. If that does not come to pass, I can only hope that it is found by a worthy sailor."
Mason: We did it!!
First Encounter: Pirate Coins[]
L1 - Copper Farthing[]
Roddy: This is a real antique coin, Mason!
Mason: Boring! We're looking for gold!
Roddy: I guess we'll keep searching...
L5 - Escudo[]
Roddy: This is really historical. Maybe we should show these to an expert...
Mason: MAYBE we should keep looking for the treasure!
L11 - Treasure Chest[]
Roddy: The treasure! Mason, we found the treasure!
Mason: We totally did! Oh, there's a note...
Mason: "Well done, me hearties. You completed your quest with great bravery. Now come over for some apple pie! - Grandma Ursula"
Roddy: I think we've been pranked!
Mason: Oh, dagnabbit! Grandma Ursula's always one step ahead...
Mason: But I had the best time anyway!
Roddy: Me too!
